Add a card
Open the service by selecting it from your mobile phone application or games menu.
On the first screen select 'Start', you will then be asked to enter your passcode.
Additional Information
When you first use the service it will run a one-off routine to set-up a secure connection. This will take 60 seconds and produces a unique code which will be used to ensure all future connections are completely secure.
After completing the one-off security routine your mobile phone will connect to the service (this may take a couple of seconds).
If your mobile phone fails to complete the security routine successfully then you will need to delete the service from your mobile phone and download it again (see the Mobile Phone Help).

Select 'Options' and then 'Card Options'.
An instruction screen will be displayed and you will be asked to 'Select a Card', or 'Add a Card' on the following screen. This screen can be hidden in the future by selecting 'OK, don't show this again'.
Select the 'Add Card' option - you will find it at the bottom of the list of cards.
We use your debit card in order to access your account details for banking services, such as balance enquiries and mini statements. This is just like using your card in a cash machine or ATM machine.
You will need to add at least one card in order to use the service. The service will automatically prompt you to add a card during the registration process.
You will be asked over a series of screens to enter your card details and the card holder's address. You will also be asked for a nickname for the card, e.g. Joint Account.
When you have entered all the card details you will be asked to confirm them. Once you are happy that all the details are correct then you can either add another card or continue.
You can add up to 10 cards.
All cards need to be verified and activated in order for you to use them with this service. Once you have confirmed the card details then we will activate your card by either:
- Sending a Card Activation Number by post, this will arrive within three working days. This method is used when you are adding a card from a bank and card holder address combination that you have not used before. You will need to enter the Card Activation Number to activate the card.
- Sending you a text message within 24 hours confirming that you can now use this card.
- Activating your card in Real-Time - you will receive a message immediately telling you that your card has been verified and activated. This is only available with certain banks, and for a bank and card holder address that you have used before.
Additional Information
If your bank does not successfully verify your card details then you will receive a text message informing that this card cannot be verified. This may be because you have entered incorrect details or because you have changed address and not told your bank. If we cannot verify your card then we will delete the details from the service. To use this card for the service you will need to add it again.
