Is my mobile phone compatible with MONILINK mobile phone banking?

MONILINK™ works on most popular mobile phones - if your mobile phone has a camera or games installed it should support MONILINK™

Please ensure you have updated your mobile phone's WAP/GPRS settings before starting the registration process.

I am unable to access the Handset Verification Code text message.

In order to access the Handset Verification Code your mobile phone requires the most up-to-date WAP/GPRS settings.

Click here to update your mobile phone's WAP/GPRS settings and then begin the registration process again.


I receive a Test Connection Failed message during installation.

If you receive a Test Connection Failed message during installation, then you will need to update your mobile phone's WAP/GPRS settings.

Click here to update your mobile phone's WAP/GPRS settings and then retry the Test Connection.


I receive an Unknown Account message during installation.

If you receive a Unknown Account message during installation, then you will need to update your mobile phone's WAP/GPRS settings.

Click here to update your mobile phone's WAP/GPRS settings and then relaunch MONILINK™ on your mobile phone.


Can I register more than one debit card?

You can add another debit card to the service at anytime by following these simple steps:

  • Launch MONILINK™ on your mobile phone
  • Enter your Passcode when prompted
  • Select Options
  • Select Card Options
  • Select Add Card
  • Enter your debit card details when prompted

  • How do I enable my mobile phone to work with WAP/GPRS?

    For MONILINK™ to work on your mobile phone you need to have WAP/GPRS enabled and up-to-date WAP/GPRS settings.

    How do I register for MONILINK mobile phone banking on my BlackBerry?

    You can register for MONILINK mobile phone banking directly from your BlackBerry.

    Registration is quick and simple:
    1. Text BB to 82428 from your BlackBerry (you may be charged for sending this text).
    2. We will send you a message.
    3. Follow the link in this message
    4. Follow the instructions on your BlackBerry to complete registration.

    The registration process is straightforward - MONILINK mobile phone banking will guide you through it.

    I've received a Transaction Denied message, what does this mean?

    You may receive this message if you have recently been sent a replacement debit card by your bank.

    Text Services customers only - You will need to delete the old card from the service and add the details for the replacement card.

    To do this please follow the instructions below:

  • From the Text Services homepage click the Manage Text Services button
  • Enter your mobile phone number when prompted
  • From the Text Services management page select Stop for the account with the replacement card
  • Select Add new card to enter your new card details and setup your alerts.

  • Mobile Phone Banking customers only - You will need to delete the old card from the service and add the details for the replacement card.

    To do this please follow the instructions below:

  • Launch MONILINK™ on your mobile phone
  • Enter your Passcode when prompted
  • From the main menu select Options and then Card Options
  • Select your card nickname from the list and select Delete Card
  • You will then be asked to confirm that you want to delete the card - select OK
  • Press OK to enter your new card details.
